Forum Reviews Guidelines

Welcome to the Forum Reviews Section!

If you are looking for people to look into your forum and hear meaningful suggestions about how to improve it, then you headed to the right section! Here you will receive constructive feedback regarding your forum from our Forum Reviewers, as well as from our members. In Forum Promocean, we endeavor to create comprehensive, quality reviews to better your own forum board.

How to request for a review?

Click on the “New Topic” button when you want to submit a Review Request. A request form is attached to the creation of your new topic, so you must fill them out with the necessary details. After creating your new topic, your request will remain open until a Forum Reviewer will tag your request. Members can also make feedback on your forum. However, it will be closed when it violates Forum Promocean’s Rules and Regulations.

These are the basic guidelines when requesting a forum review:

Your forum’s main language must be in English.
You must be the Administrator of the board. If found not, your request will be closed and forfeited.
You must entitle your thread with the name of your forum and the type of review you are requesting.
You must accomplish the form attached which will appear on the “New Topic” page.
You may bump your request every 24 hours.
You must respect the review limitations and costs.
Forum Reviewers will never give negative comments to their reviews. If you find a rude comment from the reviewers or the members, please PM a staff about it.
There must be a one-week interval after your previous request’s completion when requesting for a new review.

Currently, Forum Promocean offers the following reviews:
Simple Review (100 coins)
A Simple Review provides you with a rating on all review criteria and gives you bullet point feedback comments as well as outlining your forums strengths and weaknesses.

Requirements:
- A member of FPromocean for at least 7 days
- Can be requested twice per month

Complex Review (150 coins)
A Complex Review provides you with a rating on all review criteria and provides you with an in-depth analysis on each review criteria as well as providing suggestion on how to improve your forum.

Requirements:
- A member of FPromocean for at least 30 days
- Can be requested once a month.
- Forum must have at least 200 posts.

Technical Review (200 coins)
A Technical Review provides you with a rating and review about your forum's internal structure, web page design, html/css practices and comments to improve your code's organization, reusability and may improve page load times

Requirements:
- A member of FPromocean for at least 7 days
- Can be requested once per 2 months.
- Forum must have at least 200 posts.

One-Area Review (50 coins)
A One Area Review provides you with an in-depth analysis on one particular aspect of your forum.

Requirements:
- A member of FPromocean for at least 30 days
- Can be requested twice a month
- Forum must have at least 100 posts.

Two-Area Review (100 coins)
A Two Area Review provides you with an in-depth analysis on two particular aspects of your forum.

Requirements:
- A member of FPromocean for at least 30 days
- Can be requested once a month
- Forum must have at least 200 posts.

Feedback Guidelines

As much as possible, we would like to encourage other members to make comments about reviews for their forum. Just adhere with the following guidelines:

All members are expected to be nice and polite.
Post only useful/constructive comments. With that in hand, spam posts are discouraged.
If inevitable, settle your issues through PM.
No advertisements attached from feedback shall be done.
